With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Narten of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on August 30, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kurt Narten and Fern Narten (Wickert); his wife Sandra "Sandie" Schultz (Vanden Heuvel); his uncles, Robert Wickert (Ann) and Elmer Narten (Pat); and the mother of his children Sandra Schultz (Vanden Heuvel).
He is survived by: his daughters, Shayna Narten (Ann Chapman) and Liz Robertson (Kirsten) of Apple Valley, MN; and his grandchildren, Blair Hill (Martha), Hannah Bromund (Eric), Shelby Narten (Derrick Rising Sun), Garrett Narten (Addison), Taj Robertson and Indi Robertson. He is also survived by one great-grandson: Arlo Rising Sun; as well as other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home (628 N Water St, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's name to a 9/11 charity of your choice.
