It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria J. Johnson (Wausau, Wisconsin), born in Wakefield, Michigan, who passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur "Ted" Johnson and Agnes Johnson (Gustafson); her sister Jane Ann (Altrusa); and her brother-in-law Frank Hanousek. She is survived by: her nephew Frank L. Hanousek Jr. (Kelly); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew Hanousek, Timothy Hanousek (Ceely), Caitlin Gustafson (Steve), Mitchell Hanousek (Jasmine Madden) and Lindsey Antolik.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Brainard Funeral Home (522 Adams St, Wausau, WI 54403). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (501 E Cinnebar St, Bessemer, MI 49911).
