It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D. Crown of Waukesha, Wisconsin, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on September 2, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Robert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robert. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; and his children, Steve (Sharon), Bill (Karen) and Dorilee (John Dillworth). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (121 Wisconsin Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Prairie Home Cemetery (605 S Prairie Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186).
