It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Lindberg MD (Hales Corners, Wisconsin), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Linda; his uncles, Raymond Carlson and Bruce Elmer; his grandparents, Harry, Jeanette Lindberg, Stan, Donna Carlson and Ruth Cutting; his in-laws, Efren and Nenita Farrales; and his brother-in-law Wynand van Heerden.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Lindberg; his children, Madeline and James; his father Jim Lindberg; his stepmother Barb; his sisters, Katie (Lind) and Kirsten; his siblings-in-law, Abby Distor (Farrales), Rachel van Heerden (Farrales), Ray Distor and Jason Lind; and his siblings' children, Kaleb (Riley), Micah, Brandon, Linnea and Zander. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Elm Brook Church (777 S Barker Rd, Brookfield, WI 53045-3764).
