He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Olson and Martha Olson; and his brother Gene. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Richard; his sisters, Bonita "Bunny" Buchard and Janis Wendell (Chuck); his sister-in-law Ginny Olson; his siblings' children, Jon Olson II (Mary), Darin Olson (Liz) and Ira Olson (Kelli); his grandchildren, Jon III (Tony), Devyn (Devin), Dackota, Danyon, Noah (Bailey), ShyAnne (Casey) and Samuel; and his close friends, Bo, Krystal and Olivia Donnlley. He is also survived by grandkids, and several nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the South Beaver Creek Lutheran Church (W16679 County Rd D Melrose, WI 54642). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the South Beaver Creek Lutheran Church (W16679 County Rd D, Ettrick, WI 54627).
