It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose Marie (Weber) Smasal of Chilton, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clement Weber and Margaret Weber (Stiefvater); her husband Richard Smasal; her sisters, Susan Mueller (Hans), Mary Kuhl (Fred), Marge Lindberg (Dick) and Jeanne Oury; and her siblings-in-law, George Radysh and Darlene Kornetzke (Gerald).
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Faust (Richard Platner) of Whitewater, WI, Scott Smasal of New Holstein and Sandy Reseburg (Travis) of New Holstein; her grandchildren, Danielle Faust (Spencer Quinnies), Savannah Rathke (Trent Struve), James Hammerling, Vanessa Reseburg, Dacoda Reseburg and Devin Reseburg; her great grandchildren, Sawyer, Colton, Jayden and Ivan; her siblings, Bette Radtke (Fritz) and Joe Weber (Ginny); and her siblings-in-law, Kenneth Smasal (June), Rose Mohnsam and Allen Smasal (Carol). She is also survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the Sippel Funeral Home - New Holstein (2618 Altona Ave, New Holstein, WI 53061). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial fund to be established.
