Russell William Brown, age 81, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025. He was the loving husband of 57 years to Marcella Brown. Proud dad to Whitney (Mark) Berger and Russell (Pam Brown. Even prouder grandpa to Lauren, Eric, Juliana, Marissa, and Michael. Growing up in various places in Ontario, Canada, he then attended Tri State College in Angola. Russ had a successful career as a manufacturer's sales rep in the coatings industry. In 1984, he was recruited by an American company and moved the family to Kansas City. From there, he came to Milwaukee where he and Marcella started their own coating sales company. Other career moves landed him in New Mexico and Arizona before he retired. When Russ wasn't giving out jokes on professionally printed business cards, there's a good chance he's talking to his closest family and friends over the phone. Even more than the jokes and phone calls, he loved his grandchildren more than anything in the world. Russell's life will be celebrated on September 20th, 2:00 to 4:00 PM, with close friends and family in attendance, at Whitney and Marks' residence.
