For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sterling and Mae Sterling; and her husband James Thomas Penney, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Ernest Gene, James Thomas Penney, Jr. and Barbara Penney Derouin of Marinette, WI. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
