He was predeceased by: his parents, Magnus Eliason and Alice Eliason (Weinhardt). He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Herold; his son James Eliason Jr. (Barb); his grandchildren, Anaka and Landen; his siblings' children, Barb Durand (Paul), Carmen Wabbe (Mark), LuAnn Frederickson (Greg), Martha Eckerline, Karyn Schuler (Michael), Mark Eliason (Heidi) and Doug Otto; and his siblings, Maxine Otto (Wally) and Don Eliason (Mary). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (218 County Road K, New Richmond, WI 54017). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to First Lutheran Church.
