It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John C. Gilgenbach of Berlin, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gilgenbach and Magdalen Gilgenbach (Cermak); his brothers, Ray and Dick; his sister-in-law Joanne Syvertson; and his great grandchild Ayden.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Gilgenbach; his children, Dan Gilgenbach (Lori), Andy Gilgenbach and Pam Feucht; and his sister Pat. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
