Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Harleen Jean Rector of Madison, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 84, on September 5, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Colvin and Remelda Colvin Harrington (Baker); her children, Charles Rector and Jackie Rector; and her brothers, Floyd Colvin Jr. and Alden Colvin.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Rector (Tari), Theresa Rector and Dawn Gundlach; and her grandchildren, Robert Rector, Derek Rector, Deina McCord and Stefani Rector. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gunderson East Funeral & Cremation Care (5203 Monona Dr, Monona, WI 53716). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the family for a future donation to a charity of Harleen's choice.
