He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Hinz and Ruth Hinz (Schaefer); his sister Charlene Marshall (Dave); and his granddaughter Heather Lynn. He is survived by: his wife Violet Hinz; his daughter Wendy Hinz; his grandchildren, Shawn Hinz and Merissa Brzostowski; and his sister-in-law Sylvia Fisher.
