She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Haines and Marguerite Haines (Nee Paulson); her siblings, Roderick Haines (Shirley), Harry Haines (Nancy), Gregory Haines, Bernice Wiser, Joan Rice (Paul) and Colleen Sorcic (Will); and her sister-in-law Grace Ver Vooren.
She is survived by: her children, Donny Athas, Kimberly Ver Vooren (Ken Rogers) and Cyndy Spear (Brad); her daughter-in-law Jill Athas (Nee Bacskai); and her grandchildren, Alyssa Athas, Andrew Athas, Joseph Parsons and Jenna Parsons. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews, and treasured friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Church and Chapel Funeral Home-Waukesha/Pewaukee (380 Bluemound Rd, Waukesha, WI 53188). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, a cause close to Rosie's heart.
