He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alt and Edith Alt (Phetteplace) of Franklin Township; and his brothers, Merle, Reginald and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Alt (Tourdot); his sister Cheryl Alt of Middleton; his children, James J. Alt (Malinda) of Spring Green, Jeffrey Alt (Sarah) of Montello and Cindy Pekol (Christopher) of Evansville; his grandchildren, James R. Alt (Marihia), Kade Alt, Joshua Alt, Kevin Conley, Austin Alt (Samantha), Monica Flores (Michael), Sebastian Pekol (Alison) and Ethan Alt; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Jaxson, Carter, Kylie, Maelinn and Oaklynn.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's Catholic Church (1240 Nachreiner Ave, Plain, WI 53577). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
