It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Vera (Cardo) Moen of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Cardo and Gladys Cardo (Smith); her husband Sanford Moen; and her siblings, John Allen, Donna Foster and Gerald Cardo.
She is survived by: her son Jim Cardo (Joe'l); her grandchildren, Dakota and Cheyenne Cardo (CJ); her great grandchildren, Aiden and Ryder; her daughter Babette Hedberg; her stepdaughter Andrea Pelot (Eugene); her stepgrandchildren, Kaja Pelot and Tiana Bush (Cody); and her siblings, Richard (Arlene) and Lila Thorson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at the South Burr Oak Methodist Church.
