He was predeceased by: his father John H. Tilstra; and his in-laws, Harold and Violet Tatz. He is survived by: his mother Anna Tilstra (Nyhuis); his wife Leesa Tatz; his children, John Tilstra (Elizabeth) and Bekah Hiemstra (Noah); his siblings, Raymond Tilstra (Virginia), Linda Soehl (Howard) and Cindy Gannon (Bob); and his in-laws, Douglas Tatz (Nancy) and Roger Tatz (Karen). He is also survived by many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Church of Brandon (305 W Main St, Brandon, WI 53919). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at the Brandon Cemetery.
