She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Sr. Hicks and Frances Hicks (Craig); her former spouse Vernon'Jack'Cowling; her husband Jack; her siblings, LaVerne Hicks, Mavis Knight (Bill), Jim Hicks, Carl Hicks (Janice) and Beverly Gundlach; and her siblings-in-law, Wilmer Pliner, Verna'Joy'Marshall and Verla Pauls (Archie).
She is survived by: her children, Vicky Sheafor (Kelly) and Tom Cowling (Val); her grandchildren, Kody Sheafor (AJ) and Kylie Sheafor; her great grandchild Theo; and her siblings, Sharon Pliner, Sandy Durst (Jerome), Verlynn Stowell (Alan), Sue McBain (Lester), Betty Hatfield (Shaun), Tina Taylor, LaVon Hicks (Hilda), Terry Hicks and Steve Hicks (Sara). She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel (120 N Park St, Richland Center, WI 53581).
