She was predeceased by: her parents, Art Schoengarth and Edith Schoengarth; her husband Bernard Earl Walker; her daughter-in-law Gail Walker; and her brothers, Merlin Schoengarth (Ruby) and Robert Schoengarth.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Walker (Linda) of Marshfield, WI, Donald Walker (Julie) of Neillsville and Diane Walker (Steve Gantert) of Wausau, WI; her sister-in-law Evie Schoengarth of Marshfield, WI.; and her granddaughters, Tracey Kurth, Beth Zank, Lydia Gantert, Megan Kelly, Jamie Walker, Becca Walker and Kristen Walker. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gesche Funeral Home & Cremation Service (4 S Grand Ave, Neillsville, WI 54456). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 10:45 AM and from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Neillsville City Cemetery (811 E 15th St, Neillsville, WI 54456). A reception will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the American Legion Hall (6 Boon Blvd, Neillsville, WI 54456).
