He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Bakken and Roland Bakken; his sister Paulette Humphreys; his nephew John Voves; his parents-in-law, Bob and Ruth Johnson; and his sister-in-law Linda Devenport (family: Mike, Cheri, Mikie).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon [Johnson] Bakken; his children, Gwen Herrick (Jay) and Jeremy Bakken (Becky Farmer); his grandsons, Miles (Clarisse), Liam and Sawyer Herrick; his siblings, Sandy Rolfe (Bill), Patsy Meyer (Stan), Julie Hagen (Jim), Ron (Mindy), Gary (Betty) and David (Pat); and his siblings-in-law, Janice, Marlene, Sandy (Butch) and Bobby.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Burns Cemetery (N5461 WI-162, Bangor, WI 54614).
