He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvid Nelson and Alpha Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Anne; his son Russell Jr.; his granddaughters, Tanya, Stacy and Gabrielle; his great grandchildren, River, Vance, Gavin, Elliot and Harlow; Scott (Debra) and Brian (Jo).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the O'Connell Funeral Home (520 11th St, Hudson, WI 54016). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
