She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Buckley and Maggie Buckley; her husband Walter Ray Hicks; her siblings, Johnny, Samuel, George Buckley and Rebecca Bester; her siblings-in-law, Robert Hicks (Lula), Curtis Hicks (Barbara), Thomas Hicks, Willie Curtis, Opaline Smith (Amos) and Rebecca Johnson (Leonard); and her cousin Mollie Jones.
She is survived by: her daughters, Yolanda Kader (Amir) of Chicago and Pamela Perrin (Delroy) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Xavier Kader, Cullen Kader, Braylen Perrin, Jada Perrin and Delroy Perrin, Jr.; her sister Sylvia Diane Dawkins of Columbia; her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Buckley, Lucy Curtis and Beverly Hicks; and her godsons, Andrae Harrell and Tremaine Young. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home (4600 County Line Rd, Mt Pleasant, WI 53403). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church (1123 Center Street 17025).
