It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Garrigan of Portage, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darlene Garrigan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Krejcarek and Johanna Krejcarek (Thomson); her husband Gerald F. Garrigan; her sister Carol Murphy (Francis); and her sister-in-law Joan Krejcarek.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Kutchin (Daniel), Kathleen Roadt (David), Maureen "Mitzi" Gerstenkorn (Greg), Donald Garrigan (Kelly) and Daniel Garrigan (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Jacqueline Savee (Kenny), Jeannie Jelinek (Kyle), Jason Gerstenkorn (Leah), Erica Laffin (Joe), Kyra Churchill (Chad), Dustan Garrigan (Hayleigh), Kaisey Ackerman (Andrew), Keagan Buege (Andrew), Grant, Gabrielle, Genna and Griffin Garrigan; her great grandchildren, Kailyn, Jordyn Jelinek, Madison Savee, Thea, Valencia Laffin, Warren, Wells Churchill, Gwendolyn, Donovan Ackerman, Brinleigh, Callan Buege, Vivian and Linlee Garrigan; and her brothers, Darrol and Dennis Krejcarek (Margaret). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church (309 W Cook St, Portage, WI 53901). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (309 W Cook St, Portage, WI 53901).
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Moments Hospice Foundation 820 Lilac Dr. North, Suite #210 Golden Valley, MN 55422, or an organization of donor's choice.
