It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Gertrude Kerr of Coleman, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Bonitz and Martha Bonitz (Busse); her husband Richard Donald Kerr; her brothers, William and Harold Bonitz; her in-laws, Donna Bonitz, Joyce Bonitz, Lyman Kerr (Bud), Annabelle Weishan, Lawrence Vuchetich, Richard Weishan, Bruce Copperud Jr., Arlene Pellett, Ken Pellett and Carol Kerr; her daughter-in-law Laura Kerr (Bauman); and her grandson Joshua Hofland.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Hofland (Nick), Richard Kerr (Joyce), Donald Kerr (Kim), Ronald Kerr (Piri), Kenneth Kerr (Gail) and Keith Kerr (DeDe); her grandchildren, Travis Hofland (Cory), Robert Hofland (Shanti), Amber Smith (Mark), Sam Hofland (Taryn), Ben Hofland, Allison Hofland, Tess Engelland (Sam), Cassie Groeschl (Zach), Jenna Unke (Jake), Lindsey Killian (Matt), Kyle Kerr (Diana), Brittany Lynch (John), Marta Pape (Nathan), Andrew Kerr (Anna), Sarah Arndt (Dan), Rachel Elbin (Andrew), Jared Kerr (Megan), Andrea Kletschka (Patrick), Otto Kerr (Megan) and Hugh Kerr; her great grandchildren, Anthony, Zachary, Katelyn, Onika, Carter Hofland, Canaan, Clarke, Birke, Brigham Engelland, Brooks, Emmett, Evie Groeschl, Hawkens, Josie, Colt Unke, Harrington, George Kerr, Ava, Ellis, Isla, Emma Lynch, Blake Pape, Johnny, Lincoln, Sullivan Kerr, Asher Elbin, Mackenzie, Brianna, Callahan, Bennett Kerr and Lauryn Kerr; her great great grandchildren, Gabriel, Logan and Mia Hofland; her siblings, Martin Bonitz of Columbia Falls, MT and Kathryn Chandler (William) of Mellen; and her siblings-in-law, George Kerr, David Kerr (Frances), Janet Kerr, Dona Copperud and Sondra Landgreen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church (221 N Louis Ave, Coleman, WI 54112). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at the Trinity Cemetery (2936 N 11th Rd, Coleman, WI 54112).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to benefit the Trinity Lutheran Church's scholarship fund.
