He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hellmer and Doris Hellmer (Ebelt); his wife Karen Lydia Spindler; his parents-in-law, Norman Spindler Sr. and Elsa Spindler (Schneider); and his siblings-in-law, Donald Boselager, Norman Spindler Jr., Robert, Dale, Roger Spindler, Frank Hollenberger, Karen and Lois Spindler.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Hellmer (Annette) of Madison, Michael of Austin, Brenda Klamert (Daniel) of Oconomowoc and Tina Sadler (David) of Oakville; his grandchildren, Monica, Valerie Hellmer, Nathan, Carson Klamert, Evan and Ian Sadler; his siblings, Kathy Boeselager of Plymouth and Ray Hellmer (Jill) of Madison; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Spindler of Neenah, Darlean Rumpff (Lloyd) of Kiel, Bonnie Spindler of Sheboygan, Violet Spindler of Howards Grove, Jane Enders (Duane) of Plymouth, Janice Hollenberger of Plymouth, Earl Spindler (Delores) of Menasha and Glen Spindler of Sheboygan Falls.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Suchon Funeral Home (1317 WI-67, Plymouth, WI 53073). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Allen's name for the Sheboygan County Fair Association and the Rocky Knoll Foundation.
