With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janet L. Schaeve (Fond du Lac, Wisconsin), born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Janet left this world on September 15, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her adoptive parents, Matthew, Mabel Berg (Lapene) and Janet Louise Berg; her daughter Jackilyn Webster; and her sisters-in-law, Pat Reitz (George) and Ginna Putz (Lloyd).
She is survived by: her friends, Helen, Judie, Mary, Michael Bublé and Brett Eldredge; her children, James Schaeve (Kathy), Joel Schaeve (Jenny), Julie Schmitz (John) and Jeanine Egan (Jesse); her grandchildren, Jessica (Zach), Jimmy (Kirsten), Ashley (Rob), Jennie (Adam), Steven (Ashley), Kevin (Kristena), Nichole (Fred), Zach, Leah, Drew and Sydney; and her brother-in-law Butch Schaeve (Dale). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (59 E Merrill Ave, Fond du Lac, WI 54935). A Mass will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Jan's memory will be established for The Kathy Hospice.
