With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathleen Janet Nielsen of Green Bay, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cliff Kollman and Nellie Kollman (Van Beynan); her former husband Billy; her sister Jacqueline A. Berceau (Thomas); and her parents-in-law, Burel and Gen Nielsen (Babler).
She is survived by: her husband William C. Nielsen; her children, Robert "Bobby" Nielsen (Tracey) and Beth Bielski (Jeff); her grandchildren, Brooke Platkowski (David), Hailey Nielsen, Ashley Ziegler (Ryan), Nicole Bielski (Gavin Henn) and Josh Bielski; and her great grandchildren, Vaida, Booker Platkowski, Carson Bielski, Braylee, Scarlett Ziegler and Cade Bentley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Blaney Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1521 Shawano Ave, Green Bay, WI 54303).
