She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey C. Smith and Ruby Smith (Trovillo); her husband Walter Hartman; her son Jeffrey Hoffman; and her siblings, Robert Smith, William Smith and Myrle Vandenplas.
She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Schmidt (Terry) of Scottsdale, AZ; her grandchildren, Teagun Schmidt and Rylee Schmidt of Scottsdale, AZ; and her sister Ethyl Karl. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home (628 N Water St, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:10 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (2221 Michigan Ave, Manitowoc, WI 54220).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Doris' name that will be used to benefit organizations that were important to her.
