It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francisco Cerda of Kenosha, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 20, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Abelino Cerda and Cliofas Cerda (Montoya); and his siblings, Ninfa, Hortensia and Manuel.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Villalobos of Kenosha; his daughters, Rose Perez (Francisco) and Susana Palomo (Domingo); his grandchildren, Claudia Jaramillo (Braulio), Corinna Vargas (Christian), Brianna and Samantha Palomo; and his great grandchildren, Gabriela, Luis, Theodore, Camila and Mateo. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Proko Funeral Home & Crematory (5111 60th St, Kenosha, WI 53144). A prayer will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pompeii Parish (2224 45th St, Kenosha, WI 53140). A burial will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Sunset Ridge Memorial Park (4300 Green Bay Rd, Kenosha, WI 53144).
