He was predeceased by: his parents, James Maier and Mary Dolores Maier; and his daughters, Jennifer and Anna Marie. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Maier (Friedrich); his daughters, Dr. Megan Staub (Tim) and Lindsey Schuette (Isaac); his grandchildren, Skylar, Timmy, Sophie and Will; his siblings, Jim Maier (Elaine), Jere Maier (Margie) and Sharon Kaczmarczyk; and his mother-in-law Joanne Friedrich. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heitger Funeral Home-Jackson Chapel (5850 Wales Ave NW, Massillon, OH 44646). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rose Hill Memorial Park (3655 Wales Ave NW, Massillon, OH 44646).
