He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. McCrate and Rose Mary McCrate (Hermiller); and his sister Mary Alice McCrate. He is survived by: his siblings, Marlene Otto (Michael) of Canton, Patrick McCrate (Debbie Getter) and Terry McCrate (Betsy) of Poland, Ohio..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartman-Rousculp Community Funeral Home (10879 OH-12, Columbus Grove, OH 45830). A Mass will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (512 W Sycamore St, Columbus Grove, OH 45830).
