It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjean Mae Chastain (Wooster, Ohio), who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marjean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marjean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Adrian Hartzler and Ruth Hartzler (Stuckey); her husband J. Dale Chastain; and her children, Abigail and Madison.
She is survived by: her children, Jefferson, Lincoln (Pame), Jackson, Elizabeth and Victoria (Steve). She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
