With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Eileen Preston of Frazeysburg, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Garven and Catherine Garven (Nethers) of St. Louisville; her husband Roy Preston; and her sister Mary Helton. She is survived by: her daughter Rori Leath (Eric); and her siblings, Ralph Yoders (Carol), Carol Moulder, Richard Garven (Christine), Mike Garven (Sarita), Barb Handshy (Gary) and Cathy Ratai (Steve). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Homes (110 W 3rd St, Frazeysburg, OH 43822). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at the Frazeysburg Cemetery West Carlisle.
