We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2025, at the age of 78, Tommie Whalen of East Canton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Tommie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Tommie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Whalen and Louise Whalen; and his sister Deborah Fernandez. He is survived by: his wife Judith Laher-Whalen; his grandchildren, Craig Carr (Ashlie), Alysia London (Christopher), Moriah Schlegel (Isaiah), Alexandria Watson and Thomas Watson; and his in-laws, Pat Saurer, Liz Oberly (Dave), David Laher (Ruby) and Paul Laher.
