He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Tipton of Hillsboro, OH, Tamera Whisler (Michael) of London, OH, Edwin Tipton, Jr. (Sheri) of Hillsboro, OH, Gail Ditello (Michael) of Galloway, OH, Jan Seimer (Mark) of London, OH and Cynthia Sims (Kenny) of DeKalb, IL.; his grandchildren, Tony (Melissa), Brian (Aubrey), Karrie, Brandi, Megan (Tommy), Ashley (Chris), Amanda (Nels), Andrea (Mike), Lauren (Logan), Heather (Jake), Samantha, Marty (Amanda), Chris (Molly), Danielle (Brett), Kelsey, Kyle, Matthew, Scott, Justin, Haley (Andrew), Kennison, Morgan and Parker; and his sister-in-law Katherine Tipton of Germantown, OH. He is also survived by 42 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home (241 E Main St, Hillsboro, OH 45133). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Hillsboro Cemetery (State Rte 138, Hillsboro, OH 45133).
