He was predeceased by: his parents, George McGinness II and Louise L. McGinness (Carpenter); and his grandson John Paul McGinness. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann McGinness (Harman); his sons, Craig (Linda), Michael (Robin), Brian (Trish) and George McGinness IV (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Kayla (Ryan), Jacob (Becca), Georgi (Brandon), Joey, Stephanie (Ian), Britney (AJ), Dustin (Corinne), Maverick, Marissa, Aly (Justin), Travis, Ashley (Dan), Cole and Mac; and his great grandchildren, Gavin, McKenna, Amelia, Johnathon, McKenzie, Aubree, Grayson, Jo and Waylon.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home (685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, OH 43953). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
