She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Carter and Bernice Carter (Filley); her husband Alfred; her son Timothy Ahart; and her brothers, Ray and Ned Carter.
She is survived by: her son Thom Ahart.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Tallmadge United Methodist Church (207 N Munroe Rd, Tallmadge, OH 44278).
