She is survived by: her husband John Furino; her sons, James Furino (Melissa) and Matthew Furino (Rita); her granddaughters, Loryn Furino, Samantha Ganzer (Tyler) and Madison Furino; her great grandchild Grayson Ganzer; her siblings, Edward Welsh (Dianne), Margie Lugaila (Richard) and Mary Grace Cardona (John); her sister-in-law Barbara Welsh; and her caregiver Anne Bevington of Edward's Assisted Living. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home (547 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, in honor of Kathy's generous spirit and lifelong commitment to helping others.
