It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George E. Bandy of Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. As George departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy George leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Bandy and Catherine Bandy of Youngstown, Ohio.; his brother Kenneth W. Bandy; and his close friend Sheila Sheley. He is survived by: his siblings, James Bandy (Jean), Christopher Bandy (Becky), Elizabeth Palmer (Warne), Martha Brewer (Thomas) and Michael Bandy (Dee Dee); his sister-in-law Karen Bandy; and his girlfriend Stephanie M. Holden. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA).
