She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert McIe and Wanne McIe; her husband Norman Stampford; her daughter Debra Ann Shively; her son-in-law Randy Barber; and her grandson Heath Sothen.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Barber and Norman Eddie Sothen (Francine); and her grandson Dennis Schiavone. She is also survived by grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home (547 Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44312). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at the Hillside Cemetery. She was a long-time member of the Uniontown Chapel of Faith Church and was a volunteer at the food pantry until the covid pandemic hit in 2020.
