The memory of Eleanor Anne Carter (Sebring, Ohio), born in Oakwood, Texas, who passed away on June 4, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russel Swank and Kathryn Wortman; her stepchildren, Donn Carter and Jodie Carter DeVaux; her grandchildren, Allison, Corrissa and Scotty; and her siblings, Oralee Baker of Beloit, Don, Russel, Walter, Charles Swank, Ruth Richards and Crystal Budahazy.
She is survived by: her children, Linda D. Carter of Huntsville, Alabama, Gary A. Carter Jr. (Tracy) of Zionsville, Indiana, Larry A. Carter (Amy) of Akron, Ohio and Jerrimie A. Carter of Sebring, Ohio.; her grandchildren, Jessica, Jedidiah, James, Rachel, Claire, Jacob, Allen Michael, Tonya, Kamron and Linsey; and her great grandchildren, Faith, Eleanor, Joshua, Jackson, Colby and Kaitlynn. She is also survived by her family, welcoming both her children and stepchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Almost Home (230 S 12th St, Sebring, OH 44672). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Quaker Hill Cemetery (615 S Johnson Rd, Sebring, OH 44672).
