He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Layne and Pauline Layne (Robbins); his brothers-in-law, Michael Lehner and Michael Lupica; and his parents-in-law, Joseph and Joyce Lupica.
He is survived by: his wife Patti Lupica Layne (Café) of Marion; his children, Brandon Layne (Amy) of Haines City, FL, Ara Bruno (Bridget) of Pittsburgh, PA, Ariana Niver (Ben) of Cincinnati, OH and Lindsay Hagemann; his grandchildren, Norah, Wyatt Layne, Sloan, Jack and Zoe Niver; his siblings, Rick Layne (Amy) of Little Rock, AR and Rita Lehner of Marion, OH; and his sister-in-law Joy Lupica. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cornerstone Alliance Church (2010 Marion-Marysville Rd, Marion, OH 43302). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Church (251 N Main St, Marion, OH 43302).
