He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph E. Wellendorf and Miriam J. Wellendorf (Snyder); his sisters, Beverly Fairbee and Barbara Nichols; and his stepbrother Terry Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria J. Wellendorf (House); his children, Karen M. Youtsey (Mitch), Gary Wellendorf (Missy) and Kevin Wellendorf (Andrea); his brother-in-law Tom Fairbee; his grandchildren, Allison Wilson (Matt), Nicholas Norcia, Kelcie Yates (Gabe), Kristen Okonowski (Lance), Alexis Graham (Joey), Kaitlin, Leslie, Seth and Isaiah Wellendorf; his stepgrandchildren, Erica, Natalie and Austin Youtsey; and his close friend James Adkins. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Kreighbaum Sanders Funeral Home (4041 Cleveland Ave SW, Canton, OH 44707). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
