It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julie Anna Tenney of Akron, Ohio, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Duane R Thomas and Norma Jean Beswetherick (Fate); her husband Richard P Tenney of Akron, Ohio; her daughters, Angie Romig (Derf) of Stow and Jen Hawkins (Jeff) of Lantana, TX; her grandchildren, Anna Marie, Shelby Elaine, Rylee Parker and Bennjamin Lucan; and her siblings, Cheryl Thomas, Lenora Carpenter (Leonard), Duane Thomas Jr. and Michael Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Glioblastoma Research Organization in Julie's memory.
