He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo K. Heyl and Ada B. Heyl (Hershey); and his granddaughter Kearston Heyl. He is survived by: his children, Tyler Heyl of Ashland and Jodi Vanmeter (Chris) of Ashland; his stepchildren, Lisa Busby of Ashland, Amy Cadle (Cindy) of Massillon, Mandy Morales (Nelson) of Columbus and Ted Humphrey (Tiffany) of Canton; his grandchildren, Sara, Jordan, Cooper (Kimberly) and Leo; and his stepgrandchildren, Alexa, Olivia, Mackenzie, Colin, Isaiah, Isaac, Carter, Sophia, Maximo, Lilah and Savannah.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Grace Church (1144 W Main St, Ashland, OH 44805). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
