With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth J. Ackerman of Massillon, Ohio, who passed away on July 28, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Elizabeth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elizabeth farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert J. Ackerman and Mariam Ackerman (Roth); her significant other Mark McBurney; her sisters, Judy Riese and Janet Schaffert (Glen); and also, Charlotte McBurney and Brian McBurney (Judy).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel (705 Raff Rd SW, Canton, OH 44710). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
