He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Metz and Virginia Metz; his son Casey Metz; and his brothers, Charles Metz, Delmus Metz, Dave Metz and Bill Metz.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughter Dana Metz; his grandsons, Tyler Jarvis (Elizabeth), Thomas Jarvis and Tanner Jarvis; his great grandchildren, Lacy Jarvis and Rowan Jarvis; and his siblings, Gardenia Wilcox, Joe Metz (Norma), George Metz, Henry Metz (Lucy) and Kay Mic (Al). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305, USA). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dallas' name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
