We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2025, at the age of 82, Marlene Oster of Canton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Oster (Bob); her daughter Shelley Oster; her parents, William Haney and Josephine Haney; her son-in-law Darrin Newman; and her sister Judy Bolon.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Priebe (Rod), Valerie Newman, Scott Oster (Tricia) and Brian Oster (Amy); her grandchildren, Jared Chevraux (Megan), Jordan Chevraux (Mallory), Jake Chevraux (Hillarie), Jessa Clark (Kelly), Nicole Gill (Mani), Logan Newman, Samantha Newman, Camryn Oster, Katelyn Oster, Carly Oster, Robert Oster, Brayton Oster and Justin Oster; and her brother Aaron Haney. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rossi Family Funeral Home, Inc. (730 30th St NW, Canton, OH 44709). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the Servant Catholic Parish (1001 39th St NW, Canton, OH 44709).
