It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geraldine (Geri) Turner of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on August 24, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid adieu to Geraldine's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Geraldine has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Burmeister and Genevieve Burmeister; her husband Jack C. Turner; and her sister Sandra Boothby. She is survived by: her children, Cathryne DeVita, Jacqueline Gilin (Gerald) and John Turner (Jill Torre); and her sisters, Cynthia Cummings and Dawn Nixon. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Louisville Baptist Temple (6565 Columbus Rd NE, Louisville, OH 44641). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
