In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Yvette had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Yvette may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack McKenzie and Marge McKenzie (King); and her husband Billy Capps. She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Shaw (Ron), Billie Jo Donley (Charlie), Becky Pruitt and Donna Hunt (Steve); and her brother Jim McKenzie (Beth Ann). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home (4041 Cleveland Ave SW, Canton, OH 44707). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
