She was predeceased by: her parents, James T. Toohey and Romayne Toohey (King); and her sister Linda Kramer. She is survived by: her brother James B. Toohey (Victoria); and her cousin JoAnne Callas. She is also survived by 6 loving nieces; and many cousins and wonderful friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Arnold & Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home (4817 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709). A burial will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at the Forest Hill Cemetery (4414 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709).
In lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be made to The Aultman College Class of 1959 Scholarship, awarded to nursing students, and very dear to Karen as this was her nursing class that established the scholarship. Other donations can also be made to the Spay/Neuter Program of the Stark County Humane Society or the McKinley Library and Museum.
